My way (2) - How to get rid of fruit flies || Jak pozbyć się muszek owocówek

Muszki owocówki to potworne utrapienie. Wystarczy chwila nieuwagi, czy chociażby fakt iż mój kot wymaga, żeby jego jedzenie było zawsze dostępne i już są. A potem to już istna plaga - roją się wszędzie, nawet w kwiatkach doniczkowych. 

Aby zaradzić tej sytuacji łyżeczkę płynu do mycia naczyń zalewam około 3 cm octu jabłkowego. Po około 12 godzinach zapominam o ich istnieniu. Jedynym minusem jest wygląd mikstury po wyłapaniu muszek. Ale faktem jest, że działa cuda :)


Fruit flies can be a handful. It takes only a second of not paying attention or even the fact that my cat requires his food to be available at all times, and here they are. And then it is a disaster - ther're everywhere, even in pot flowers.

In order to solve this situation I add about 3 cm of apple vinegar to one tea spoon of washing-up liquid. After 12 hours I can forget the fruit flies even exist. THe only downside is the look of the mixture after it catches all the flies. But it works miracles

Ciekawi mnie czy dla wszystkich to nowość, czy tylko ja jakaś nieogarnięta jestem ;) Potrzebowałam wyczyścić stary obraz olejny i mama podpowiedziała mi zasłyszany gdzieś u starszyzny rodzinnej sposób z czyszczeniem za pomocą... cebuli. Słyszałyście o tym? Próbowałyście?

Ja spróbowałam już na dwóch obrazach i okazało się, że cebula działa cuda :) Niestety nie zrobiłam zdjęć przed i po, bo jestem strasznym niedowiarkiem i nie sądziłam, że efekt mnie tak pozytywnie zaskoczy.

Jedynego minusa pewnie się już domyślacie - potoki łez. Ale efekt jest tego wart.

Hey hey :)

I wonder whether it's a news for everyone or is it just me who is still astonished by the world around ;) I needed to clean an old oil painting and my mom told me a idea she heard rom an older family member. Cleaning of oil painting by means of... onion. Have you hear about it? Have you used it?

I have already tried in two paintings and it turned out that onion works miracles :) Unfortunately I did not make any before and after photos, because I'm a terrible case of doubting Thomas and it would never cross my mind that the effect may be so positively surprising.

You may have already thought about the only disadvantage - the rivers of tears. But the effect is worth it.
